Job Description Growing Custom Home Builder has a position open to fill multiple roles as a Bookkeeper and Construction Office Manager. A background in contract administration, development coordination, title/escrow coordination, bookkeeping, or a similar position is recommended. Our Southern UT\-based company is a small, fast\-paced custom home construction company developing residential projects in Southern Utah. The applicant must be well\-versed in the general contracting industry. Primary Construction Office Manager responsibilities include handling all aspects of contract administration for the general contracting portion of our business including tracking bid documents, subcontractor contracts, insurance certificates, vendor contracts, pay requests, lien releases, bank draw submittals and project close\-out documentation, meeting coordination, purchase contract tracking, permit submittals and tracking, and bookkeeping responsibilities; data entry, bank reconciliation, payroll, and monthly reports. Secondary responsibilities include acting as executive/personal assistant to the owners, and overall office management, weekly preparation of financial analysis reports for weekly review. The applicant should be highly organized, detail\-oriented, and have strong coordination skills. Exceptional communication skills (especially writing) are a must. The applicant must be punctual, a self\-starter, and able to meet deadlines for completing projects. Time management is critically important. Experience with Excel and Quickbooks is required. Experience with project management software such as BuilderTrend and graphic design experience (Photoshop, Indesign, Sketchup, etc.) is also a plus. A general understanding of office equipment (copiers, scanners, printers, conference calls, scheduling, etc.) is expected. This position will most likely grow into more hours weekly as the company grows. This position is remote for daily productivity but there will be weekly office meetings requiring attendance locally.
