We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Administrator to oversee the day\-to\-day operations of a Level 6 Adult Residential Facility serving adults with developmental and physical disabilities, including individuals who require behavioral intervention and enhanced support. We are looking for an experienced professional who understands the unique responsibilities of working in a higher\-level residential setting and can provide strong, consistent leadership to both residents and staff. The ideal candidate is organized, confident, an excellent communicator, and knowledgeable in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral needs. This position requires someone who can effectively communicate and coordinate with physicians, healthcare providers, Regional Center representatives, families, and other members of each resident's support team. The selected candidate will receive support during the transition into the Administrator role to promote continuity, confidence, and long\-term success. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of a Level 6 Adult Residential Facility and ensure appropriate supervision, staffing, and resident support. Maintain compliance with California Community Care Licensing (CCLD), Regional Center requirements, facility policies, and applicable regulations. Provide leadership, supervision, training, guidance, and support to Direct Support Professionals and other facility staff. Ensure appropriate implementation of residents' Individual Program Plans (IPPs), Needs and Services Plans, behavioral support plans, and healthcare recommendations. Work effectively with individuals who may require behavioral intervention, enhanced supervision, redirection, and individualized support. Monitor changes in residents' health, behavior, functioning, and support needs and respond appropriately. Communicate and coordinate effectively with physicians, nurses, pharmacies, specialists, behavioral professionals, and other healthcare providers. Coordinate medical appointments, transportation, day programs, community activities, and other resident services. Oversee medication management and ensure medication records and other required documentation are accurate and current. Communicate professionally with residents, families, Regional Center Service Coordinators, healthcare providers, licensing representatives, and other members of residents' support teams. Complete and maintain required facility documentation, reports, resident records, and incident documentation. Assist with staff scheduling, training, performance management, and maintaining appropriate staffing coverage. Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, organized, and welcoming. Promote resident rights, dignity, independence, choice, and community participation. Respond appropriately to emergencies, behavioral incidents, staffing concerns, and other facility needs. Foster a positive work environment through professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and effective communication. Qualifications \& Experience Previous experience working in an Adult Residential Facility, group home, behavioral residential program, or similar community care setting is strongly preferred. Experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and behavioral support needs is highly desirable. Experience working in a higher\-level residential program or with individuals requiring behavioral intervention is strongly preferred. Previous supervisory, management, lead staff, or administrative experience in a residential care setting is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organization, documentation, and problem\-solving skills. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with physicians, healthcare providers, Regional Center representatives, families, staff, and other professionals. Familiarity with California Community Care Licensing requirements and Regional Center services is highly desirable. Experience with medication management and resident documentation is preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able and willing to drive as part of the position. Must be dependable and able to respond appropriately to the changing needs of residents and the facility. Spanish\-speaking/bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; Spanish proficiency is a plus. DSP Year 1 and/or DSP Year 2 training is a plus. California ARF Administrator Certification is preferred. Candidates with strong relevant experience who are willing and eligible to complete Administrator Certification requirements may also be considered.
