Ophthalmic Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care within our optometry practice. You will assist the optometrist in various clinical tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining the highest standards of patient comfort and safety. There is also option for additional hours if wanted for administrative assistant (remote) Duties Conduct patient intake, including obtaining medical histories and performing preliminary assessments. Utilize aseptic techniques to prepare patients for examinations and procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with optometrist to provide optimal patient care during examinations and treatments. Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries. Support retail sales of optical products, utilizing knowledge of retail math to assist customers effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinic environment.
