Role Overview As a Medical Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality and compassionate care to patients. You will work under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care and enhance the overall patient experience. What You Will Do Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment. Obtain and document accurate medical histories from patients. Measure and record vital signs, contributing to the patient's overall health assessment. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, following established protocols. Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Current BLS\-C upon hire or successful completion by end of orientation. Preferred Qualifications At least one (1\) year of related experience. * Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. At least one (1\) year of related experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills preferred. Ability to perform a wide variety of clinical skills as related to ambulatory patient care preferred. Ability to problem\-solve preferred. Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current BLS\-C upon hire or successful completion by end of orientation.
