How you’ll contribute A Physician Services Supervisor who excels in this role: Lead daily operations by coordinating staffing assignments, priorities, and coverage to support efficient Physician Services operations and exceptional patient care. Support and develop your team through orientation, training, coaching, mentoring, and ongoing guidance to help employees succeed and grow. Partner with physicians, providers, and hospital teams to promote effective communication, responsive service, and a positive experience for patients, providers, and colleagues. Champion quality and compliance by ensuring services are delivered according to hospital policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, HIPAA standards, and established best practices. Foster a positive, accountable team environment by setting clear expectations, encouraging collaboration, recognizing performance, and supporting employee development. Resolve complex issues and concerns by serving as a resource for staff and addressing patient, provider, coworker, and customer needs in a timely, professional, and solution\-focused manner. Monitor and improve workflows by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, strengthen processes, and enhance the overall quality of Physician Services. Step in where needed to support operations and maintain appropriate service levels, ensuring the team consistently meets the needs of physicians, patients, hospital partners, and the communities we serve. Health \& Fitness Center Access www.myhaywoodregional.com/locations/haywood\-regional\-health\-fitness\-center What we’re looking for Associate’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent healthcare or relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of education. Previous healthcare, medical office, or physician services experience, with experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred. Prior leadership or supervisory experience, with the ability to coordinate work, set priorities, and provide direction and support to team members. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with physicians, patients, coworkers, and other hospital partners. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA, privacy, confidentiality, and applicable organizational policies and procedures. Strong organizational and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, address complex issues, and make sound decisions in a fast\-paced environment. Proficiency with standard computer applications including email, word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, and other systems used to support daily operations. The campus, located in Clyde, is also home to the 54,000 square foot Haywood Regional Health \& Fitness Center, and the 44,000 square foot Outpatient Care Center. HRMC also operates two urgent care centers in the county.
