Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Leasing Agent/Assistant Manager to join our property management team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants and existing residents, ensuring a seamless leasing experience while supporting the overall operations of our property portfolio. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in property management, sales, and administrative support within a fast\-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants with enthusiasm, provide detailed property tours, and effectively communicate leasing options. Manage lease or rental agreement processes, including application screening, background checks, and lease signing procedures using property management tools such as OneSite \& Knock Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records, contracts, and legal documents in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord\-tenant law. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property upkeep and address client concerns promptly through excellent customer service and phone etiquette. Negotiate lease terms with clients while upselling additional services or amenities to enhance tenant satisfaction. Assist in budgeting activities related to property leasing operations and support conflict management efforts among residents or team members when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, with familiarity using property management software OneSite. Strong knowledge of landlord\-tenant law, and Fair Housing regulations Excellent customer service skills combined with effective negotiation and conflict management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes. Demonstrated ability to manage lease agreements, contracts, and legal documentation accurately. Experience working within a property management company environment or similar office setting preferred. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining professionalism through phone etiquette and client communication skills. Knowledge of Affordable Housing /Tax Credit \& HUD Programs Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values energy, transparency, and excellence in property management!
