Senior Accountant – Remote \| Full\-Time Royal Foam US \| U.S. Manufacturing Company Work Location: 100% Remote Schedule: Monday–Friday Compensation: $25–$30/hour, based on experience and qualifications About Royal Foam US Royal Foam US is a growing U.S. manufacturing company specializing in architectural and decorative products, custom 3D signage, large\-scale structures, and advanced custom fabrication solutions. We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can take ownership of the company's day\-to\-day accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, financial controls, and coordination with external CPA and tax professionals. This is a 100% remote, full\-time position for a highly organized and detail\-oriented accounting professional with strong knowledge of U.S. accounting practices. Position Summary The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's accounting records and providing management with timely and reliable financial information. This is not simply a bookkeeping or data\-entry position. The successful candidate should understand the complete accounting cycle and be able to independently manage: Transactions → AP/AR → Bank Reconciliations → General Ledger → Month\-End Close → P\&L / Balance Sheet / Cash Flow → Management Reporting The Senior Accountant should be able to identify discrepancies, accounting errors, unusual transactions, financial risks, and opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls. Cash Flow Management Monitor the company's cash position Prepare short\-term cash flow forecasts Track expected customer payments Track upcoming vendor and operating payments Identify potential cash shortages in advance Assist management with cash planning and payment prioritization Payroll \& Contractor Accounting Maintain accounting records related to payroll Review payroll transactions Maintain contractor payment records Assist with W\-2 and 1099 documentation Reconcile payroll\-related accounts Coordinate with payroll providers and external accountants when necessary Sales Tax \& Tax Support Maintain records required for U.S. sales tax reporting Assist with sales tax reconciliation Maintain exemption certificates and supporting documentation when applicable Prepare financial documentation requested by the company's CPA or tax firm Assist with federal and state tax preparation Maintain organized and audit\-ready tax documentation Fixed Assets Maintain the company's fixed asset register Track machinery, equipment, computers, vehicles, and other capital assets Maintain depreciation schedules Properly classify capital expenditures versus operating expenses Reconcile fixed assets with the General Ledger Inventory \& Manufacturing Accounting Experience with manufacturing accounting is a significant advantage. Responsibilities may include: Inventory reconciliation Raw material accounting Work\-in\-Progress (WIP) tracking Finished Goods accounting Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) Material cost analysis Manufacturing expense allocation Inventory adjustments Identification and investigation of inventory discrepancies Financial Controls Help develop and maintain strong internal accounting controls. The Senior Accountant should proactively identify: Duplicate payments Missing documentation Incorrect expense classifications Unusual or questionable transactions Reconciliation discrepancies Unauthorized expenses Accounting process weaknesses Potential financial risks The objective is not simply to record transactions, but to maintain accurate, controlled, transparent, and audit\-ready accounting records.
