Responsibilities Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations, ensuring accuracy and completeness in real\-time. Manage and update electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently, maintaining organized and accessible medical documentation. Assist healthcare providers by capturing vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information with precision. Ensure compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times. Support the clinical team by preparing accurate medical records, reports, and documentation for future reference or billing purposes. Collaborate with medical staff to verify the accuracy of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy details documented during patient visits. Demonstrate proficiency in using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR platforms to facilitate smooth clinical operations. Skills Strong transcription skills with the ability to accurately convert spoken or written medical information into electronic records. Prior experience in a medical office setting or emergency room environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to ensure precise documentation. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management tools. Understanding of clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA compliance standards to protect patient privacy. Excellent typing speed combined with strong writing skills for efficient documentation under pressure. Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals while maintaining attention to detail in fast\-paced environments.
