Position Highlights The Oregon Court of Appeals is hiring a Judicial Assistant (Court Operations Associate). In this role… You will provide complex administrative support to the judges of the Oregon Court of Appeals (COA). Judicial Assistants are generally assigned to assist multiple judges on the court, and a large part of your role is supporting your judges with opinion drafting and publication. You will support your assigned judges by drafting title pages, applying formatting based on the court’s style guide, incorporating edits, organizing multiple drafts and version management, circulating opinions, preparing agendas for the court’s conferences, data entry, proofreading, and finalizing opinions for publication. You will also prepare case materials for oral arguments including gathering briefs and transcripts; maintain your judges’ calendars and more. You will provide office support by answering questions via phone/email; maintaining the office library; providing backup to other judicial assistants; and setting up meetings, conferences, and mediations either in\-person or remote. Working Conditions This is a full\-time position, and the work schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
