Sales Development Representative

Most people call a clinic when something is wrong. Their back, their knee, their shoulder. They've waited too long. They've tried things that didn't work. By the time they pick up the phone, they're frustrated and not sure calling will be worth it.
The person who picks up matters more than most clinics realize.
We're hiring a Sales Development Representative to be the first real conversation a prospective patient has with Roam. The job is to listen well, ask good questions, help the caller think clearly about what they're dealing with, and guide the right people toward a first visit.
This is not a passive admin or scheduling role. It is a real role with structure, weekly coaching, and a path into expanded responsibility as Roam grows. We are not interested in getting people through the door just to make a sale. We care about helping the right people make the right decision for themselves.

Roam Chiropractic \& Wellness is a cash\-based rehabilitative chiropractic clinic in historic downtown Gresham, Oregon. We work with active adults who want to keep doing what they love. Hikers, runners, parents who lift their kids, climbers, weekend athletes, people who refuse to slow down at 55\.
Our patients pay out of pocket because the model is different. Longer visits. A real plan. Coaching, not just adjustments. The first conversation they have with Roam shapes everything that follows.

*What You Will Do*
\- Respond to inbound leads from paid ads, our website, Instagram, referrals, and phone calls
\- Have intake calls with prospective patients to understand their goals, what they've tried, what's at stake
\- Book qualified people into a Discovery Visit, our free first appointment
\- Confirm upcoming visits to reduce no\-shows
\- Follow up with people who hesitate, cancel, or need more time
\- Reach out to past patients we haven't heard from in a while
\- Support outreach tied to current offers, workshops, and community partnerships
\- Keep clear, complete notes in our CRM so everyone on the team knows where each person stands
\- Review recorded calls with the clinic owner weekly. Get feedback. Get better.

*Who This Role Is For*
\- Someone composed under pressure. Calm when the person on the other end is not.
\- A real listener. Asks one question, waits for the full answer, then asks the next.
\- Comfortable asking someone to take the next step when it's right, without pushing when it isn't.
\- Organized. Detail\-oriented. Keeps notes without being reminded.
\- Has worked remote successfully before. Knows what discipline looks like outside an office.
\- Writes the way people talk. No corporate. No buzzwords.
\- Takes feedback without getting defensive.

*Experience We're Looking For*
Strongly preferred: experience in a phone\-based role where people made real decisions. Could be a doctor's office, a gym, a real estate office, a wellness brand, hospitality, or a consultative sales role.
Relevant backgrounds: patient intake with a conversion component, gym or wellness membership sales, inside sales, hospitality, or similar customer\-facing roles built on phone conversations.
Experience with GoHighLevel or similar CRM systems is a plus, not required.

\- Schedule: 25 to 30 hours per week to start, with a path to full\-time at 90 days
\- Location: Remote, Pacific Time matching Roam's clinic hours
\- Reports to: Dr. Tyler, clinic owner. Weekly recorded\-call review and coaching directly with the owner.
