Position Summary:
The Outside Sales Representative role is designed for a motivated, independent sales professional who thrives in a self\-directed, field\-based environment. The primary duty of this role is to sell the company's residential and specialty products and services by meeting with potential clients in person across the Puget Sound region. The successful candidate will choose which leads to pursue, coordinate appointments with office support, and manage their own day\-to\-day schedule.
This position has an hourly base wage of $20\.00 plus uncapped commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively pursue sales opportunities through in\-person consultations with potential customers.
- Select preferred appointments from warm leads distributed by the inside sales team.
- Attend one weekly sales meeting to identify, claim, and coordinate sales leads with internal staff.
- Collaborate with the office team to relay chosen consults for scheduling and CRM documentation.
- Generate additional leads via self\-driven outreach, including follow\-ups with previous or unclosed clients.
- Maintain organized records and share information with inside sales to support accurate CRM entry.
- Independently determine scheduling, route planning, and approach to consultations.
- Achieve outlined performance metrics and contribute to overall revenue targets.
- Operate primarily in the field, using a company vehicle for regional travel.
- Uphold professional standards and represent the company with integrity in all customer interactions.
- Proven sales experience in both B2B and B2C settings.
- Previous success in independently managing a sales territory.
- Proficiency with CRM software for logging and managing client data.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload independently.
- Must be comfortable with flexible hours and regional travel.
