Husky Senior Care/Longhouse helps older adults stay safely in household environments with caregivers who treat them like family (Husky in their own homes and Longhouse in our small facilities). Behind every well\-staffed shift is somebody who built the team, vetted the talent, and made sure the right caregiver showed up. We’re hiring that person. If you light up at the idea of building a caregiver workforce that runs ahead of demand — not behind it — keep reading.
The Role
As Talent \& Workforce Manager, you own the engine that makes everything else at Husky/Longhouse possible: the people who deliver care, and the systems that get them to the right shift. You’ll lead caregiver recruiting, onboarding, retention, and HR compliance. You’ll also supervise our staffing team — a Virtual Assistant and our overnight and weekend coordinators — making sure scheduling runs cleanly without it consuming your day. You report directly to the Owner.
This is not a maintenance job. It’s a builder’s job. We’re looking for someone who is willing to inherit what works, fix what doesn’t, and design what we don’t have yet.
What You’ll Own
* Caregiver pipeline. Sourcing, screening, hiring, and onboarding caregivers who meet our standard.
* Caregiver retention. Building the early\-tenure experience that keeps the right caregivers with us.
* HR \& compliance. Keeping our people files audit\-ready, our claims handled, and our practices aligned with Washington law.
* Staffing leadership. Supervising three coordinators who run day\-to\-day scheduling — holding them to fill rate, accuracy, and response\-time standards.
* Workforce insight. A weekly KPI dashboard that tells the Owner what’s working, what isn’t, and what to do about it.
What Success Looks Like in 12 Months

- Fill rate at or above 98%, with missed shifts trending down.
- 90\-day caregiver retention measurably improved.
- Zero compliance findings on personnel files.
- Three direct reports who are demonstrably better at their jobs than the day you started.
- You’ve done HR, recruiting, or staffing leadership for at least three years — and you’ve managed people for at least one of those.
- You move fast without losing accuracy. You finish things.
- You’ve handled enough compliance and documentation to know it’s a discipline, not a chore.
- You’re a builder by temperament. When something’s broken, you don’t just report it — you fix it or design something better.

- Salaried, full\-time, with a performance bonus tied to the results above.
- Monday–Friday in\-office at our Kirkland location.
- Shared on\-call rotation for true emergencies — we don’t expect any one person to be available 24/7 alone.
