As the HR Generalist at Aprios, you serve as the operational anchor for our human resources function across our manufacturing plants in Brooklyn Park, MN and Vista, CA. You will manage the hands\-on execution of talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee\-owner inquiries, leveraging the power of the Paycor ASO platform. This role bridges the gap between executive leadership’s vision and our frontline production teams across all shifts. Working in close collaboration with our external Paycor HRBP, you will maintain multi\-state compliance and drive the initiatives that make Aprios a premier workplace for our employee\-owners.

Duties and Responsibilities

Employee Relations \& Operational Support

  • Serve as the primary HR presence for 85 employee\-owners across both states, answering policy questions and escalating complex matters to the Paycor HRBP.
  • Manage the annual performance review process and support ongoing training and development initiatives for all employees.
  • Assist in coordinating the ESOP Culture Committee and Safety Committee, organizing recognition events and safety training to promote a high\-ownership manufacturing culture.
  • Assist leadership in communicating critical company updates to a diverse, 3\-shift production team.
  • HRIS \& Benefits Administration

  • Administer day\-to\-day operations within the Paycor HRIS, including new hire entry, status changes, terminations, and leave requests.
  • Oversee timekeeping accuracy and maintain secure, compliant personnel files and employment documentation.
  • Own and maintain employee benefits packages for both MN and CA locations in partnership with insurance brokers.
  • Leverage AI tools and Paycor platforms to automate administrative tasks, draft professional communications, and analyze data for informed decision\-making.
  • Talent Acquisition \& Compliance

  • Manage full\-cycle recruitment by posting positions, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Lead the new\-hire orientation process to ensure all employee\-owners understand the Aprios culture and ESOP benefits from Day 1\.
  • Maintain foundational knowledge of HR law to ensure operations meet both Minnesota and California regulatory requirements.
  • Support the external HR Consultant on weekly projects, providing necessary data and context while applying best practices to internal workflows.
  • Experience \& Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field highly preferred.
  • 3\-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience or strong familiarity with California employment law is highly desirable.
  • Proficient with Paycor HRIS (highly preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and professional AI applications.
  • Active interest in pursuing SHRM\-CP or PHR certification.
  • A "people\-first" approach with the ability to take direction from an external HRBP and apply feedback to future tasks.
  • Physical \& Environmental Requirements

  • Work Environment: Comfortable working with PCs for extended periods and sitting at a desk.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in virtual meetings.
  • Physical Demands: Occasional lifting up to 15 lbs.
  • Travel: Less than 10% travel required between the Brooklyn Park, MN and Vista, CA facilities.
  • Pay: $35\.00 \- $40\.00 per hour
