Join a Different Kind of Accounting \& Advisory Firm

At Elevated Advisory \& Accounting, we’re not a transactional, box\-checking firm. We’re a relationship\-driven team that helps business owners actually understand their numbers — and use them to make smarter decisions with more confidence.

At the core of our company is a simple belief: Financial clarity should create freedom.

We believe business owners deserve to feel supported, informed, and confident enough to actually enjoy the business and life they’re building — not feel buried by it. And we believe the same thing for our team internally, too. We want to create careers that support growth, flexibility, ownership, connection, and a genuinely fulfilling life outside of work.

We meet clients where they are and help them rise higher with clarity, strategy, and support that feels personal, proactive, and human.

That same mindset shapes our internal culture. We move quickly. We communicate openly. We step in for each other. We care deeply about the work we do and the people we do it with. We’re constantly improving, building, refining, and looking for smarter ways to serve both our clients and our team.

This role is not for someone who wants to quietly complete tasks and wait for direction. This role is for someone who wants ownership. Someone who naturally takes initiative, creates structure, keeps things moving, anticipates needs, and genuinely enjoys making life easier for the people around them. Does that sound like you?

Who Thrives Here

You’re Naturally Action\-Oriented

You’re the kind of person who sees something that needs to happen and just… handles it.

You don’t wait around for step\-by\-step instructions or constant follow\-up. You think ahead, connect dots, and keep momentum moving. If a process feels messy, you organize it. If something is unclear, you ask questions and move it forward.

You have a strong bias toward action and ownership.

You Create Structure Instead of Waiting for It

This role supports a fast\-moving advisory department and leadership team. Priorities shift, client needs evolve quickly, and not everything already exists in a perfectly documented SOP (but it will after you get your hands on it!)

We need someone who naturally creates organization around themselves:

  • improving workflows
  • tightening follow\-through
  • building systems
  • documenting processes
  • creating consistency
  • helping leadership stay ahead
  • You Think Like a Partner, Not Just an Assistant

This is not a passive administrative role. You’ll work closely with advisory leadership, and success here comes from being proactive, resourceful, observant, and dependable.

    You should naturally:

  • anticipate needs before they’re voiced
  • keep projects moving forward
  • follow through on loose ends
  • help organize priorities
  • communicate clearly and consistently
  • catch details others miss
  • create a seamless experience for clients and the team
  • You Understand Accounting Beyond Data Entry

You don’t need to be a CFO, but you do need to understand financials well enough to think critically about them.

    You should feel comfortable:

  • reviewing bookkeeping for accuracy
  • understanding financial statement flow
  • identifying things that look “off”
  • preparing management reports
  • supporting KPI and dashboard reporting
  • You Communicate Exceptionally

Clients and teammates will never wonder where something stands. You communicate proactively, close loops consistently, and keep people informed. You know how to balance professionalism with warmth and relationship\-building.

    Your Impact

Help Keep Advisory Clients Moving Forward

You’ll act as the operational backbone of our advisory department — helping create consistency, accountability, organization, and an exceptional client experience.

    Some days that looks like:

  • preparing management reporting packages
  • reviewing financials before meetings
  • coordinating client meetings and recurring schedules
  • preparing agendas and sending follow\-ups
  • tracking client action items and implementation progress
  • maintaining KPI dashboards and reporting tools
  • helping leadership stay prepared and ahead
  • organizing priorities and next steps
  • improving recurring workflows and processes
  • ensuring details don’t quietly fall through the cracks
  • You’ll play a huge role in helping our advisory experience feel proactive, organized, and high\-touch.

    Deliver Financial \& Operational Support

    Responsibilities include:

  • reviewing bookkeeping work for quality and completeness
  • assisting with reconciliations and cleanup review
  • supporting month\-end reporting workflows
  • identifying inconsistencies or financial concerns
  • maintaining organized client notes and communication
  • supporting recurring reporting and implementation tasks
  • helping improve internal systems and processes over time
  • We value precision, but we also value initiative, ownership, judgement, and follow\-through.

    Required Skills \& Experience

  • 3\-4 years of bookkeeping, accounting, financial operations, or advisory support experience
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping workflows and financial statements
  • Experience reviewing reconciliations and identifying discrepancies
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills required — including pivot tables, reporting analysis, data organization, and spreadsheet management
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Comfort interacting directly with clients professionally and confidently
  • Experience with Google Workspace
  • Bonus Points For

  • Public accounting experience
  • Experience preparing management reports or KPI dashboards
  • Familiarity with Fathom or other reporting platforms
  • What Success Looks Like Here

  • You don’t wait to be managed.
  • You move things forward before someone asks.
  • You anticipate needs and solve problems proactively.
  • You create organization where things feel clunky.
  • You improve systems instead of working around broken ones.
  • You help leadership stay focused, prepared, and ahead.
  • You communicate clearly and close loops consistently.
  • You take ownership like the business matters to you.
  • You help create a client experience that feels proactive, thoughtful, and high\-touch.
  • What We Offer

    Competitive Benefits

  • 7 Paid Holidays (including your birthday!)
  • PTO accrual after 3 months of employment
  • Simple IRA with up to 3% employer match
  • Professional development support \& performance bonuses
  • Traditional Group Health Insurance with 50% premium coverage (employee\-only)
  • Revive Wellness Benefit (100% employer\-paid): Telehealth primary care, access to covered medications, and personalized health management support

    A Place to Grow

This role is designed to grow with the right person.

    You’ll gain exposure to:

  • advisory strategy
  • financial leadership conversations
  • operational process improvement
  • client management
  • reporting and KPI analysis
  • a wide variety of industries and business models
  • We’re looking for someone who wants to build a future here — not just fill a seat.

    Culture That Makes Work Fun

We work hard, but connection and culture matter here too.

We intentionally create opportunities for our team to connect as people — not just coworkers. That might look like:

  • Monday team trivia and connection moments
  • Group book clubs and discussion sessions
  • Wellness and fitness challenges
  • Team celebrations and outings
  • Collaborative learning opportunities
  • Casual moments to step away from the work and recharge together
  • We believe strong teams are built through trust, connection, and genuinely enjoying the people you work with.

  • Convenient downtown Kalispell location
  • Hybrid flexibility after training period
  • Flexible scheduling within reason
  • Full remote work setup provided
  • Fully stocked kitchen with snacks and beverages
