Part\-Time: 5–15 hours/week to start, with room to grow
Pay: $18–$20/hour, depending on experience
Red Wagon Goats is looking for a friendly, organized, animal\-loving, highly adaptable team member to support our growing goat rental, vegetation management, and goat event business. Our rentals for land clearing are our bread and butter, but we are looking to expand on our popular goat yoga, educational, team building and petting zoo experiences.
This is a truly hybrid role for someone who enjoys wearing a lot of hats. The right person will be equally comfortable answering customer emails, updating spreadsheets, helping organize bookings, educating potential clients, making sales calls, assisting with goat yoga or school events, and occasionally getting outside to help move goats, set up fencing, or visit a property before a job begins.
This is a fun, unusual, and highly rewarding job — but it also requires professionalism, follow\-through, physical capability, and a willingness to learn the many moving parts of a unique animal\-based business.
About Red Wagon Goats
Red Wagon Goats provides goat rental and targeted grazing services throughout the Atlanta area, helping property owners manage invasive plants, overgrowth, and vegetation in a natural and memorable way. We also host goat\-centered events including goat yoga, educational programs, environmental events, school and university visits, corporate team\-building activities, and private events.
We are a small, growing business, so this role is ideal for someone who likes variety, takes initiative, and wants to help build systems while also being part of a hands\-on, joyful, animal\-centered company.
Primary Responsibilities: Administrative \& Customer Experience Support
Your main responsibility will be helping the owner manage the customer journey from first inquiry to completed job. This may include:
- Responding to customer emails with a warm, professional, and helpful tone
- Helping organize estimates, bookings, invoices, and follow\-ups
- Tracking leads, customer status, and job progress in Google Sheets and/or CRM tools
- Managing calendar details and scheduling support
- Helping customers understand our services, process, pricing, and expectations
- Supporting estimate and invoice creation
- Keeping customer information organized and up to date
- Helping improve internal systems, workflows, and communication
- Following up with leads and past customers
- Making outreach calls or emails to potential event partners, schools, companies, venues, HOAs, and property owners
- Helping educate potential customers about goat grazing and goat events
- Supporting marketing ideas, local partnerships, and community outreach
- Assisting with social media, email marketing, or promotional efforts as needed
- Representing Red Wagon Goats with a friendly, upbeat, and professional voice
- Covering field shifts when another team member is unavailable
- Setting up or taking down temporary electric fencing
- Moving goats safely between areas
- Helping load, unload, or transport supplies
- Assisting with basic medical goat care
- Observing job sites to better understand estimates and customer needs
- Working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Visiting properties before a job begins
- Taking photos and notes
- Evaluating terrain, access points, fencing needs, hazards, and vegetation
- Communicating findings clearly to the owner/team
- Helping create accurate estimates based on what you observe
- Helping plan and organize goat yoga, school events, university events, corporate team\-building programs, environmental education events, and private parties
- Communicating with event clients before the event
- Preparing supplies, schedules, and logistics
- Helping set up and break down events
- Greeting guests and creating a fun, safe, welcoming environment
- Educating attendees about goats, targeted grazing, sustainability, and animal care
- Running or supporting event logistics on site
- Coordinating when we participate in local parades, festivals, etc
- Personal assistant\-style support for the owner
- Farm errands or supply runs

- Ability to work part\-time, starting at approximately 5–15 hours per week

- Sales experience or comfort with sales conversations

- Experience using Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
- Experience with CRMs, booking systems, spreadsheets, or customer tracking tools

- Living near Stone Mountain or having easy access to the farm
- Experience with goats, livestock, horses, farming, or animal care
- Experience leading events, camps, tours, educational programs, or group activities

- Experience with landscaping, fencing, tools, trailers, or hands\-on outdoor work

Sales experience is strongly preferred, but the most important thing is that you are warm, confident, curious, and comfortable communicating with many different kinds of people.
Secondary Responsibilities: Goat Rental \& Field Support
While this is primarily an administrative and customer experience role, we'd love to find someone who is willing and able to understand the field side of the business. You may occasionally help with:
This role does require good physical ability. You should be comfortable walking uneven terrain, lifting supplies, being outdoors, and working around livestock. Getting occasional work out in the field will help you get intimately familiar with the nature of the work and help make accurate estimates.

The right person will be able to pivot with a good attitude while helping bring more structure and organization to the business.
Schedule
This position will start at approximately 5–15 hours per week, with the potential to grow as the business grows. Some work may be remote/admin\-based, while other work will happen at the farm, customer properties, or event locations.
Availability on some weekends or evenings may be helpful for events, but scheduling can be discussed.
Compensation
Pay is $18–$20/hour, depending on experience, skills, and fit.
