THE ROLE
You'll be the first hire joining the founders. The core product is built — an AI agent (Claude) with 11 tools across 3 risk levels, a Next.js dashboard, and a Python/FastAPI backend. We need someone who can take this from "works on localhost" to "runs reliably in production for paying customers." You'll split time between shipping features and hardening infrastructure.

● Frontend: Next.js 15 (App Router), TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Clerk auth
● Backend: Python 3\.11, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy (async), Postgres
● AI: Anthropic Claude API with streaming, tool use, multi\-turn conversations
● Infrastructure: Docker, Railway (deployment), Vercel (frontend)
● Integrations: Clerk (auth), Twilio (SMS), Google Business Profile (reviews), Meta Ads, Postmark (email)
● Security: AES\-256\-GCM token encryption, JWT via JWKS, role\-based access
WHAT YOU'LL DO
DevOps \& Infrastructure (60%)
● Set up CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions → Railway/Vercel)
● Configure production Postgres (managed), backups, and connection pooling
● Implement zero\-downtime deployments and health checks
● Set up monitoring, alerting, and structured logging (Datadog, Sentry, or equivalent)
● Manage secrets, environment configs across dev/staging/prod
● SSL, DNS, and domain configuration
Backend Features (15%)
● Build out OAuth integration flows (Google, Meta) end\-to\-end
● Implement real API calls to Google Business Profile, Meta Ads, Twilio
● Add background job scheduling (agent runs, campaign sends, review polling)
● Build Stripe subscription billing and webhook handling
● Add multi\-tenant data isolation and audit logging
Frontend Features (25%)
● Build settings pages (integrations, billing, team management)
● Add real\-time updates for agent activity
● Build onboarding flow for new practices
● Polish approval workflows and notification system
REQUIREMENTS Must\-Have
● Python — FastAPI or Django, async programming, SQLAlchemy or equivalent ORM
● TypeScript/React — comfortable reading and modifying Next.js App Router code
● Postgres — schema design, migrations, query optimization, indexing
● Docker — compose for local dev, Dockerfile for production
● Deployment experience — Railway, AWS, GCP, or equivalent cloud platform
● CI/CD — GitHub Actions or similar, automated testing and deployment
● OAuth 2\.0 — token management, refresh flows, secure storage
● Linux fundamentals — can SSH in, read logs, debug production issues
● Security basics — secrets management, HTTPS, input validation, rate limiting Strong Plus
● LLM/AI integration experience — function calling, streaming, prompt engineering
● Stripe Billing — subscriptions, metered usage, webhooks
● HIPAA\-aware architecture — encryption at rest/transit, audit trails, BAAs
● Clerk or similar auth platform (multi\-tenant, org management)
● Monitoring stack setup — Sentry, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana
● Experience scaling a SaaS from 0 → first 50 customers
