Our office is seeking a full\-time, bilingual, front office receptionist to join our Family Medicine clinic. This position requires face to face, over the phone, and virtual interaction with patients so solid communication skills are a must. Successful candidates should be able to multi\-task and problem\-solve consistently and follow national HIPAA laws.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening, to include a pre\-employment and random drug screening.

Job Duties include, but not limited to the following:
- Utilize EHR system to schedule appointments, and document patient interactions with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Verify patient health insurance benefit and eligibility information via Payor Websites, or via Payor telephone call.
- Collect patient payments including cash and credit at time of service with 100% consistency.
- Receive inbound and make outbound calls to patients, other providers/facilities/pharmacies throughout workday.
- Use common medical office technology with a high level of proficiency. This includes, sending and receiving faxes, Use of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, etc.), Email, Printing, Document sorting and management.
- Check\-in and greet patients in a personable, and professional manner.
- Maintain communication with clinical staff.
- Light cleaning of work area.
- Meet quality standards of care.
- Reliability to complete a full working shift Monday through Friday.
- Proficient with common clinical and prescription terminology.
- Strong grammar and note taking skills.
- Strong phone etiquette
- Able to consistently maintain a professional, and team\-oriented attitude.
- Pay attention to detail.
- Fluent and bilingual in Spanish.
