We’re a small, family\-owned business looking for the right person to support both our home and day\-to\-day operations in a flexible, part\-time role.
This is a unique position that blends: Helping with young children during busy parts of the day Assisting with light administrative/business tasks when needed Schedule: Part\-time: approximately 10–12 hours per week 2–3 days per week, 3–4 hour shifts Weekday daytime hours (some flexibility is helpful)
What this role looks like: Childcare support (mother’s helper style):
Helping supervise/play with children while parent is home working Assisting during outings (parks, errands, etc.) or staying home with children Light help with snacks and general tidying related to the kids
Light business/admin support (when time allows):
Entering basic information for utility locate requests (Dig Safe) Assisting with simple permit applications (training provided) Organizing and flagging emails Updating job notes/schedules in our system
Important notes: This is NOT a full nanny role — a parent will usually be present or nearby This is NOT a high\-level office position — tasks are structured and trainable We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety and being helpful where needed
Ideal fit: Comfortable around young children Organized and detail\-oriented Willing to learn simple systems and follow processes Flexible and able to shift between tasks Reliable and easy to communicate with Bonus if you: Have previous childcare experience Have basic computer/admin experience
