Reports To: Assistant Vice President of Insurance Claims

Your Role: As an Insurance Claims Clerk you will assist the Insurance Claims Specialists to resolve open insurance claims. Provide professional, courteous, accurate and efficient service to each customer.

Schedule:

Part\-time (benefits not included)

Work Environment:

In\-office, with potential for remote flexibility based on performance and role requirements

Wage:

$17/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry and verify customer information
  • Process checks on insurance claims and related documents such as, insurance load edits, fraud affidavits and title releases
  • Initiate the filing of GAP claims
  • Handle incoming and outgoing e\-mail
  • Connect with the appropriate personnel to assist in resolving customer concerns
  • Protect the legal, financial and moral well\-being of the company
  • Other tasks assigned by management

  • Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or comparable
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Can communicate quickly, effectively, and accurately
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Effective time management and ability to multi\-task
  • Ability to use office equipment and computers

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain stationary for continuous periods of time. Constantly operate a computer and phone. Frequently communicates with customers, coworkers, and managers about accounts. Able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
