JOB PURPOSE:

We’re seeking a highly strategic Web Specialist for a 12\-month fixed\-term position to evaluate, improve, and help shape the overall performance of our website. This is a fully web\-focused role centered on user experience, site architecture, and data\-informed decision\-making within a Drupal environment.

This role requires deep, hands\-on experience with Drupal, along with the ability to translate insights into meaningful, scalable changes across the site.

In addition to ongoing site optimization, this role will play a key supporting role in the launch and refinement of a new video hub, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across video content, discovery, and engagement pathways.

Key responsibilities include:

· Conducting a comprehensive audit of the Drupal website, including user flows, navigation, and overall UX

· Evaluating homepage performance, content hierarchy, and key entry and exit points

· Utilizing insights and recommendations provided by the analytics team to inform priorities and improvements

· Translating analytics input into actionable updates across navigation, taxonomy, and page layouts

· Recommending and implementing enhancements to site structure and user journeys within Drupal

· Building, updating, and optimizing pages directly in Drupal, ensuring consistency and scalability

· Supporting the launch and ongoing optimization of the video hub, including content organization, user flow, and discoverability

· Applying web best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles within Drupal constraints

· Collaborating with cross\-functional teams to align web improvements with broader organizational goals

· Continuously iterating on site updates based on performance data and feedback

Required qualifications:

· Proven experience working extensively within Drupal (content types, taxonomy, layouts, and page building)

· Strong understanding of UX/UI, information architecture, and web best practices

· Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and how they apply within a CMS environment

· Experience applying analytics\-driven insights to improve web performance

· Experience working with content\-rich or media\-heavy websites (video experience a plus)

· Ability to translate recommendations into clear, actionable changes

Preferred qualifications:

· Experience with search optimization and tools such as Algolia

· Familiarity with improving on\-site search experience, indexing, and content discoverability

This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker who can evaluate the full website experience and execute improvements using data provided by internal teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize and implement changes effectively are essential.
