The SCADA Analyst – ROC is an entry\-level, full\-time role designed to support the CAMS Remote Operations Center (ROC) while developing foundational SCADA engineering and operational technology skills under structured mentorship.
This is a long\-term pipeline position with defined development milestones and increasing technical responsibility. The role contributes directly to the reliability, accuracy, and usability of SCADA systems used to monitor and control renewable energy assets, including Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), across a 24/7/365 operations environment.
Under the guidance of senior SCADA Engineers, the SCADA Analyst will support live operations, development environments, and project work, with the expectation of progressing in both autonomy and technical scope over time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the ROC by reviewing, organizing, validating, and maintaining SCADA data and configurations
- Assist with ongoing support and maintenance of SCADA implementations in a 24/7/365 operations environment
- Build and maintain HMI screen interfaces with high consistency and low error rates
- Assist in configuring, testing, and validating SCADA tags, alarms, and system logic
- Support project onboarding activities under mentorship, including configuration and testing
- Assist in troubleshooting SCADA system issues and system restoration activities
- Maintain documentation related to SCADA configurations, standards, and processes
- Collaborate closely with ROC Operations, SCADA Engineers, and project stakeholders
- Follow established cybersecurity, change management, and operational procedures
- Progressively take on increased technical responsibility as competencies are achieved

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred
- Understanding of programming fundamentals and system integration concepts
- Interest in SCADA, industrial systems, and operational technology
- Exposure to Ignition, Python, SQL, or similar technologies is a plus
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to follow defined procedures while learning complex systems
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Proven ability to learn technical systems quickly and apply feedback
