About the Role
We are a small employee benefits consulting firm seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Benefits Account Support Assistant to provide ongoing administrative and coordination support. This is a fractional, retainer‑based position designed for someone looking for consistent part‑time work with a professional services firm.
This role supports health plan administration and client workflows but does not involve making eligibility, ACA, or compliance determinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support health insurance renewals and open enrollment workflows
- Prepare, validate, and track employee census data
- Update and manage benefit administration systems, including Employee Navigator
- Upload elections, plans, and supporting documents to carrier and broker portals
- Coordinate follow‑ups with carriers, vendors, and clients
- Assemble and organize plan documents, SBCs, and enrollment materials
- Provide general account coordination and administrative support
- Prior experience in employee benefits administration, health insurance, HR, brokerage support, or TPA operations
- Hands‑on experience with Employee Navigator strongly preferred
- Comfortable working within defined workflows and deadlines
- Strong organizational, communication, and follow‑through skills
- Experience supporting renewals and open enrollment is a plus
