    Pediatric Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a Rehabilitation Technician to join our outpatient team. We serve a diverse clinical population in pediatric orthopedic, neurologic, and general rehabilitation. The Rehabilitation Technician is responsible for assisting our Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists in patient care, including exercises/interventions, supporting during two\-person techniques, chaperoning sensitive appointments, and assisting with aquatic therapy. Rehabilitation Technicians also assist with various clerical tasks, equipment monitoring, clinical cleanliness, volunteer supervision, joint commission readiness, and inventory.

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Some experience working with patients in physical or occupational therapy
  • Ability to understand and communicate information in both verbal and written format.
  • Competency in basic computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete regular tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of therapists and patients with different impairments.
  • Mechanical aptitude for adjusting and setting up equipment.
  • Ability to multi\-task, anticipate needs, and attend to detail is very important

    Work Schedule

  • Part\-time (30 hours/week). Schedule will support our afternoon/evening hours until clinic closing on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Clinic is open Monday\-Thursday, 7am\-7pm and Friday 7am\-5pm.
