JOB TITLE: Operations \& IT Help Desk Specialist
COMMITMENT: Full\-time employment (40 \+ hours per week). You must reside within a 45\-minute commute to 13409 NW Military Hwy, Shavano Park, TX 78231\.
SUMMARY: Texas Medical Legal Consultants, LLC (TxMLC) is a San Antonio based company that provides administrative services to physicians and other healthcare professionals who act as medical expert witnesses in lawsuits. Our company acts as a liaison between medical experts and the law firms that retain them. We provide medical experts with a variety of services including bringing them case review opportunities, scheduling assistance, record transmission/storage, managing communications with the law firm, and handling all the billing and collections for case reviews.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The Operations Department at Texas Medical Legal Consultants, LLC (TxMLC) has two primary functions but also takes on additional tasks related to the business operations flow of TxMLC.
IMAGING RECORDS PROCESSING \& SUPPORT DUTIES:
· Extracting and processing large volumes of zipped DICOM files and uploading to the preferred format for viewing by our expert clients
· Processing digital records file copies requested by our legal clients between our expert clients utilizing various cloud storage systems.
· Providing software and hardware support to TxMLC employees, expert clients, and legal clients as needed. (ShareFile, SharePoint, MS 365 Dynamics \& Office Suite, RadiAnt, PostDicom, Windows OS, Mac OS, etc.)
NEW CASE PROCESSING DUTIES:
· Data verification
· Creation of digital case file folders and embedded upload links
· Professional email correspondence with our legal clients throughout the United States
· Data entry and verification
WORK EXPECTATIONS: The Operations Department provides significant on\-demand support for TxMLC. To maximize processing of incoming data, the department typically operates in two shifts:
- 8:00 AM \- 5:00 PM CST
- 9:00 AM \- 6:00 PM CST

This position is a blended role between both primary functions of the Operations Department to maximize support for existing department team members. Cross training on all aspects of the Operations Depart is critical. Additional duties include a physical office presence at the office to provide technical support for expert meetings as needed and 7\-9 days annually as part of a regular rotation.
As the department works independently and collaboratively on complex projects throughout the day, it is imperative to maintain strong communication, triage deadlines, and manage work/life balance to foster a healthy and successful work environment.
SOFTWARE/APPLICATIONS UTILIZED IN THIS DEPARTMENT:
· MS 365 Office Suite, with a strong understanding of Outlook and Teams applications
· Adobe Acrobat Pro with AI
· ShareFile or similar virtual secure storage sites (i.e., Dropbox)
· Zoom and other video conferencing applications
· WinZip/WinRAR or similar file zipping software
· RadiAnt and PostDicom Radiology Viewer
TRAINING:
· In\-person office training for a duration of four weeks

Pay: $45,000\.00 \- $52,000\.00 per year
