Position Overview
A personal chef is seeking a reliable and detail\-oriented Personal Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, tech\-comfortable, and able to manage a variety of administrative and digital tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general computer and technology support (Lenovo laptop, Android phone)
- Manage and post content on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Next door) as needed
- Create and distribute monthly newsletters using Constant Contact, including maintaining and updating contact lists
- Manage any changes to the chef's personal website using Square space
- Organize and maintain digital files, including photos and documents
- Assist with writing, proofreading, and general communication tasks
- Help create catering contracts and track/manage client payments
- Help track recurring bills using Excel
- Assist with tracking medical appointments and managing related bills as needed
- Provide general administrative and organizational support
- Assist with occasional food\-related tasks (helpful but not required)
- Comfortable with basic technology and social media platforms
- Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Constant Contact) preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail, especially with writing and file management
- Dependable, proactive, and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Must have reliable transportation and a personal device (laptop/tablet/phone)
- Comfortable working in a home environment with a small, friendly dog
- Knowledge of health insurance and tax beneficial
- Work is primarily in\-person with some flexibility for remote tasks
- This is a part\-time role with potential for adjustment based on needs
