    Employment Type: Part\-Time (Approx. 7 hours per day, scheduled as needed)

    Position Overview

    Hearing Onsite is an innovative mobile healthcare organization providing comprehensive audiological services to residents within Senior Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing facilities. We operate on a high\-efficiency "No to Low Copay" model, leveraging specialized insurance knowledge to provide premium hearing technology to seniors at little to no out\-of\-pocket cost.

    We are seeking five Audiology Aides to serve as essential field support for our licensed Audiologists. This role is the primary link between our clinical providers, facility administrators, and our global administrative team.

    Key Responsibilities

    1\. Clinical \& Operational Support

  • Assist Audiologists with the transport, setup, and calibration of portable diagnostic equipment within residential facility environments.
  • Manage patient flow during mobile clinics, ensuring a professional and compassionate experience for residents.
  • Document clinical encounters in the
  • CounselEar (EMR) system, ensuring accurate data entry for clinical notes and Place of Service (POS) coding.

    2\. Insurance Advocacy \& Intake (The "Field Detective")

  • Execute precise "Physical Verification" of patient insurance: Identifying critical Third\-Party Administrator (TPA) triggers (e.g., NationsHearing, TruHearing) to ensure claims are routed correctly.
  • Conduct "Status Verifications" with facility business offices to distinguish between Medicare Part A (Skilled Stay) and Long\-Term Care (LTC) status—a critical step in preventing billing denials.
  • Secure and digitize patient intake documentation, including medical consent forms and Resident Face Sheets.
  • 3\. Workflow Coordination

  • Collaborate with Community Liaisons to review resident rosters and identify "Green Light" patients eligible for
  • Direct Access annual wellness exams under 2026 Medicare guidelines.

  • Ensure all insurance data is securely transmitted to our administrative and billing teams for pre\-authorization.
  • Qualifications \& Requirements

    * Communication Excellence: Ability to interact professionally with healthcare administrators, nursing staff, and a geriatric patient population.

    * Technical Proficiency: Comfortable utilizing mobile applications, EMR software, and digital imaging tools for document management.

    * Analytical Detail: High attention to detail regarding medical insurance cards, policy numbers, and facility status codes.

    * Mobility: Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license for regional travel.

    * Licensing: Must be willing to complete the training hours and application process for the California Audiology Aide License (fully sponsored and guided by the company).
