Senior HubSpot Consultant with prior migration experience
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist to lead and execute the migration from Adobe Marketo to HubSpot. The role will be responsible for planning, data migration, system configuration, integration, validation, and post‑migration support to ensure a seamless transition with minimal business disruption.
Migrate marketing platform from Marketo → HubSpot
- “Lift \& shift” existing setup first
- Guidance on HubSpot best practices and UX improvement
- Enable future marketing automation maturity
- Integrate HubSpot with:
- HubSpot solution architect (mandatory)
- Marketo → HubSpot migration specialist
- Marketing automation strategist
- HubSpot admin / developer
- CRM integration specialist (Dynamics \+ Salesforce)
- Data migration engineer
- Marketing ops specialist
- Lead end‑to‑end Marketo‑to‑HubSpot migration presales, planning and execution
- Assess current Marketo setup (programs, campaigns, workflows, assets, data models)
- Define migration scope, approach, timelines, risks, and dependencies
- Create detailed migration and cutover plans
- Migrate leads, contacts, companies, activities, and custom fields
- Rebuild Marketo programs, email templates, landing pages, forms, and workflows in HubSpot
- Ensure data accuracy, deduplication, and compliance during migration
- Map Marketo objects and fields to HubSpot equivalents
- Configure HubSpot Marketing Hub (properties, workflows, lists, scoring, lifecycle stages)
- Set up lead management, nurturing, and automation flows
- Configure email, landing pages, forms, and tracking
- Enable reporting and dashboards aligned to business KPIs
- Re‑establish integrations with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), websites, analytics, and third‑party tools
- Validate API connections, sync rules, and data flow
- Support domain setup, email deliverability, and tracking configuration
- Perform functional testing, data validation, and UAT support
- Identify and resolve migration defects or gaps
- Support go‑live and hypercare activities
- Ensure minimal downtime and business continuity
- Prepare migration documentation, configuration guides, and SOPs
- Conduct training and KT sessions for marketing and business users
- Provide post‑migration support and optimization recommendations
- 5\+ years of experience in marketing automation platforms
- Strong hands‑on experience with Adobe Marketo and HubSpot Marketing Hub
- Proven experience in at least one Marketo‑to‑HubSpot migration
- Strong understanding of lead lifecycle, scoring, nurturing, and segmentation
- Experience with CRM integrations (Salesforce preferred)
- Knowledge of email deliverability, tracking, and GDPR/consent management
- HubSpot Marketing Hub (Professional/Enterprise)
- Adobe Marketo
- Salesforce or similar CRM
- HTML/CSS for email and landing page templates (basic to intermediate)
- APIs and data migration tools (nice to have)
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work with marketing, sales, IT, and external vendors
- Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
- HubSpot or Marketo certifications
- Experience with complex enterprise marketing setups
- Knowledge of analytics, attribution models, and reporting frameworks
- Experience supporting global or multi‑region marketing teams
