Compensation: $18\.00–$21\.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Job Description
Beam Properties, Inc. is seeking a dependable and organized Office Assistant to support our Sacramento portfolio. This is an entry\-level role ideal for someone who is detail\-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow in property management and real estate.
The position provides administrative and on\-site support to the Residential Property Manager. The assistant will travel between buildings to help with tenant coordination, inspections, notices, and vendor access.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Assist with daily office and property management tasks
- Prepare and deliver notices, welcome letters, and general correspondence
- Help organize and maintain property files (digital and paper)
- Track maintenance requests and follow up with vendors and residents
- Enter data and update reports as directed by the Property Manager
- Support scheduling of inspections, repairs, and vendor appointments
- Greet and communicate with residents professionally
- Help with lease paperwork and move\-in/move\-out coordination
- Assist with collecting forms, photos, or condition reports
- Conduct property visits and basic inspections as needed
- Ensure posted notices and signage are up to date
- Receive and log work orders from tenants or on\-site staff
- Communicate maintenance requests clearly to vendors
- Follow up on pending or incomplete work orders
- Support the Property Manager in tracking vendor invoices and approvals
- Preferred: Associate degree
- Preferred: 1\-2 years of office experience
- Preferred: 1\-2 years of customer service experience
- Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Required: Proficiency in written and verbal English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Drive
