The Human Resources Assistant, under supervision, processes and maintains forms and records, provides detailed administrative information, and assists customers with HR processes, procedures, or services.

Responsibilities:
- Schedules appointments, greets customers, answers telephone, and distributes, delivers, and picks up mail for the department.
- Assists new\-hire employees with paperwork completion.
- Assists in the processing of employee background checks and employment applications.
- Examines employee files to answer inquiries. Provides information to authorized persons.
- Assists with HR projects, new hire orientation and wellness initiatives
- Supports records imaging and maintains personnel and medical files.
- Updates and maintains the university organizational chart, directory, \& departmental newsletter.
- Compiles data from personnel records and HR Systems and prepares reports.
- Coordinates the orders for name tags and assist with departmental email account requests
- Supports compliance efforts by assisting the Assistant Director with mandatory training notifications
- Assist with data management and reporting.
- Processes invoices for payment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- – High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- – One year of experience.
- Prior experience in Human Resources.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Emma) and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).
- – Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

Hours: Up tp 19\.5 hours per week, Monday \- Friday.
