Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Receptionist to be the welcoming voice of our organization. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, handle phone system, and provide exceptional customer service to clients, and team members. Your organizational skills and office management expertise will ensure smooth daily operations, creating a positive first impression for everyone who call our salon. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative skills in a fast\-paced, professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly on the phone
  • Answer and direct all incoming calls using phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
  • Manage front desk activities including scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and coordinating meetings remotely
  • Handle data entry, and may assist with marketing special implementation and execution.
  • Room for growth to become Salon owners assistant.
  • Support management by coordinating calendar management and providing administrative support as needed
  • Utilize computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Boulevard for various administrative functions
  • Experience

  • Proven office experience or previous receptionist roles demonstrating excellent customer service skills
  • Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette in a professional setting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
  • Competence in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools and salon software
  • Experience with clerical duties such as , data entry, proofreading, and document management
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively (Spanish/Portuguese)
  • Prior experience in salon receptionist roles is a plus but not required; relevant personal assistant or administrative experience is valued highly
