If you desire to be a part of one of the top performing private physical therapy practices in South Texas, Catalyst Physical Therapy is currently hiring a Front Office Receptionist for our out\-patient physical therapy clinic

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain positive daily interactions with patients and direct them appropriately by physical and virtual means.
  • Oversee the clinic’s scheduling efforts, insurance plans, and additional administrative duties in accordance with payer and clinic policies.
  • Verify and determine detailed and critical information from trusted sources regarding insurance authorizations and plans.
  • Manage all Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personal Identifiable Information (PII) by physical and virtual means while remaining in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 HIPAA and all governing bodies.
  • Upkeep and maintain workspaces as applicable.
  • Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a sense of urgency during execution of daily duties while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise conflict resolve while maintaining a positive attitude for the benefit of the patient.
  • Ability to eloquently communicate with patients, staff, partners, and associates.
  • Computer Skills: Must be able to demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, etc.) and other data/statistical analysis tools.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Experience

  • Receptionist at a medical facility or business: 1 Year
  • High\-School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Job Types: Full\-Time, Part\-Time

    Salary: $12\.00 \- $17\.00 per hour
