Fastlane lending solutions is a fast\-growing home improvement lender delivering innovative financing solutions to contractors and homeowners nationwide. We partner with contractors to provide competitive, compliant, and scalable lending products that enable home upgrades across the country.
We are seeking a strategic, analytically rigorous, and commercially driven AVP, Product Strategy \& Pricing to lead loan product design, pricing architecture, and capital markets optimization. This role serves as a key architect of enterprise profitability and sits at the intersection of product innovation, contractor pricing strategy, financial modeling, and secondary market execution.
This leader will own the economic framework of our loan programs — from product structuring and contractor pricing to gain\-on\-sale optimization and capital markets performance — while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, sales, finance, capital markets, and our issuing bank partner.
Responsibilities:
Product Strategy \& Profitability Ownership
- Own the end\-to\-end economic performance of loan products, including pricing strategy, margin targets, and long\-term portfolio profitability.
- Lead recurring profitability reviews and budget forecasting across loan products and dealer segments, incorporating rate movements, credit performance, capital costs, and macroeconomic assumptions.
- Develop forward\-looking margin projections and scenario\-based sensitivity analyses to guide executive decision\-making.
- Establish pricing guardrails and return thresholds aligned with enterprise risk appetite and growth objectives.
- Design and oversee pricing frameworks for contractors, including dealer fees, rate buydown structures, promotional programs, and volume\-based incentives.
- Evaluate bespoke pricing requests from large strategic partners, balancing competitiveness, market positioning, and target returns.
- Serve as a senior advisor to Sales leadership on pricing negotiations and strategic account structuring.
- Ensure pricing consistency, governance, and alignment with corporate profitability objectives.
- Own gain\-on\-sale (GOS) strategy and performance monitoring by dealer, product, and channel.
- Analyze realized versus projected margins and identify key drivers of variance, including credit trends, prepayment behavior, and market execution.
- Partner with Capital Markets and Finance to optimize loan sale structures, securitization strategies, and secondary market pricing.
- Prepare and present portfolio analytics, product characteristics, and pricing performance materials for capital markets engagements and investor discussions.
- Support warehouse, seasoning line, and liquidity strategy in coordination with treasury and banking partners.
- Lead the design, financial structuring, and launch of new loan products and program enhancements.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to draft and update loan agreements, pricing sheets, and program documentation.
- Ensure new product launches meet return thresholds, regulatory standards, and operational readiness requirements.
- Drive continuous innovation in product structures to enhance competitiveness and capital efficiency.
- Oversee competitor and partner rate card monitoring, promotional tracking, and structural product analysis.
- Maintain a centralized pricing intelligence database to inform strategy.
- Provide executive leadership with actionable insights on market trends, pricing shifts, and competitive dynamics.
- Manage seasoning line and issuing bank relationships from a performance and reporting perspective.
- Monitor balances, aging, eligibility metrics, advance rates, and covenant compliance.
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting and alignment with contractual obligations.
- Support strategic discussions regarding capital capacity, pricing grids, and program expansion.
- Act as a key liaison between Product, Sales, Finance, Capital Markets, Risk, Compliance, and external partners.
- Translate complex financial analytics into clear executive\-level insights and recommendations.
- Build scalable pricing and profitability infrastructure to support enterprise growth.
- Mentor and develop junior analysts as the team expands.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance, or related field) preferred.
- 6–10\+ years of progressive experience in consumer lending, home improvement finance, fintech, specialty finance, or structured products
- Deep expertise in loan economics, gain\-on\-sale accounting, pricing strategy, and secondary market execution.
- Experience with securitizations, forward flow agreements, warehouse lines, and bank partnership models.
- Strong background in financial modeling, portfolio analytics, and P\&L ownership.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Python or data analytics tools strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to present complex financial analyses to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, competitiveness, and profitability.
