Harborview Medical Center's Nursing Support Program has an outstanding opportunity for a part\-time Cardiac Monitor Technician.

- Assist the patient’s care team with surveillance of cardiac monitors, including identification and communication of dysrhythmias,
- Demonstrate understanding and proficiency in cardiac telemetry monitoring platforms (E.g., Clinical Access/Spacelabs, Phillips), EPIC software, and additional communication platforms,
- Participates in departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication, and quality improvement,
- Assist with the clerical and support activities, and other delegated tasks, to support in\-patient remote telemetry units,
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of a course in cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation, OR, one (1\) year of experience in monitor surveillance in a coronary care/telemetry unit

The program provides monitoring from a central monitoring center for patients who require cardiac telemetry surveillance.
