Senior Systems Administrator
The Senior Systems Administrator (SSA) is an integral member of the company’s Project and Service teams and significantly contributes to building out and maintaining the IT and telecommunications infrastructures for our customers.

Technical Qualifications and Competencies
The ideal candidate will meet or exceed the following technical qualifications:
- Core competency certifications such as CompTIA A\+, Network\+, Security\+, Server\+, Cloud\+, Microsoft Certified Professional, CCNA, etc.
- Advanced certifications such as MCSE, CISSP, CASP\+, and similar credentials are preferred
- Exceptions may be made for candidates with commensurate experience
- 5\+ years of recent experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 consultative IT support for small\-to\-medium sized businesses
- 5\+ years of experience working with a Managed Services Provider is preferred, but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar field is preferred, but not required
- Firewalls including SonicWall, Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, and similar platforms
- VPN and VLAN configuration and support
- Managed network switches including Meraki, Ubiquiti, and similar platforms
- Wireless access points including Meraki, Ubiquiti, and similar platforms
- Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation operating systems and services
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- Office 365
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Intune
- Backup and disaster recovery platforms
- VoIP and telecommunications
- Video conferencing and conference bridge technologies
- PBX and SIP systems
- Linux servers and operating systems preferred, but not required
- Ability to multi\-task and juggle priorities in a fast\-paced, high\-workload environment
- Strong attention to detail and thoughtful time management skills
- Thorough documentation skills and commitment to clerical excellence
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Perform onsite and remote project implementation and support services
- Act as an escalation point for more complex technical issues when necessary
- Lead by example and provide mentoring to junior technical personnel when appropriate
- Assist with technical discovery for potential project work and onboarding new customers
- Travel to client sites as needed when remote resolution or implementation is not feasible
