Job Overview

We are a small mental health practice in Winter Park looking for an Administrative Clerk to help with daily office tasks. You don't need medical experience — just basic computer skills and a friendly voice on the phone. You will be the first person our clients talk to when they call.

What You'll Do

Phone \& Messages

Answer phone calls – clients call to book, cancel, or ask questions

Check voicemails – listen, write down names and numbers, call back

Take messages for therapists – write down who called and why

Scheduling \& Appointments

Schedule new patients – put them into Google Calendar

Reschedule appointments – move things around when someone cancels

Send appointment reminders – call or text patients the day before

Data Entry \& Excel

Type patient names and phone numbers into Excel

Update addresses and insurance info when patients tell you something changed

Keep a simple log of who came and who cancelled each day

Emails \& Paperwork

Check the practice email – answer simple questions or forward to therapists

Print forms – intake paperwork, consent forms

File paperwork – put signed forms into the right folders

General Computer Tasks

Check that patient contact info is correct – call or email to verify

Update the patient list each morning – see who is coming that day

Requirements

Basic computer skills – know how to type, use Excel, send emails

High school diploma or equivalent

Reliable internet and quiet space (for hybrid days)

US work authorization – no visa sponsorship

Pay: $22\.28 \- $26\.84 per hour
