We are a growing bilingual (English/Spanish) psychology practice and affiliated nonprofit organization focused on serving children, adolescents, and families in Houston.

  • We are mission\-driven, fast\-moving, and in a rebuilding/expansion phase — looking for someone who can bring structure, accountability, and organization to daily operations.

    Position Overview

    This is NOT a passive administrative role.

    We are looking for a highly organized, proactive Operations Assistant who can help enforce daily structure, support staff, and ensure smooth clinic operations.

    You will work directly with leadership to:

  • Keep staff on schedule
  • Ensure tasks are completed daily
  • Improve organization and workflow
  • Help maintain a clean, professional environment
  • Key Responsibilities:

    Daily Operations

  • Ensure front desk and staff follow assigned schedules (10am–6pm)
  • Monitor punctuality and task completion
  • Implement and oversee daily checklists
  • Staff Support \& Accountability

  • Provide real\-time guidance to front desk staff
  • Help enforce expectations in a respectful but firm manner
  • Track attendance and performance
  • Scheduling \& Workflow

  • Identify gaps in the schedule and help improve patient flow
  • Coordinate basic scheduling tasks as needed
  • Facility Oversight

  • Ensure clinic and workspaces are clean, organized, and functional
  • Help coordinate basic maintenance or repairs when needed
  • Administrative Support

  • Assist leadership with operational tasks
  • Help organize systems and processes across clinic and nonprofit activities
  • Qualifications

    Required:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to take initiative without constant direction
  • Comfortable holding others accountable professionally
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
  • Basic computer skills (email, scheduling systems, etc.)
  • Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare, clinic, or office management
  • Experience supervising or leading staff
  • Experience with scheduling or operations coordination
  • Ideal Candidate
