Job Summary
We are seeking a multi\-talented Design Team Coordinator to join Toupin Construction. We are looking for someone who is willing to make an immediate contribution to our expansion.
Our ideal candidate is highly organized, loves to multi\-task and enjoys the wide range of responsibilities and challenges of a fast\-paced Design Team. This position requires initiative, flexibility, excellent communication and customer service skills. They will serve as the initial point of contact for new clients and help maintain existing relationships by working closely with the business owner, Design Team and Construction Crew.
Key Responsibilities \& Attributes
· Background and at least one year experience in the Kitchen and Bathroom remodeling industry is REQUIRED.
·Strong sense and familiarity with paint selection, material selections for tile and backsplash in home remodeling projects.
·Ability to prepare proposals using boilerplate templates.
· World class communication and customer service skills to ensure continuity of communications across; Clients, Design Team and Construction Crew
· LOVES design and construction.
· Act as initial point of contact for incoming client requests/issues and delegate appropriately to resolve any issues
· Ability to multi\-task in a fast\-paced environment. Responsible for performing complex and administrative related functions to ensure the office operations flow; this includes phone and email correspondence with our clients, answering phones and maintaining client files and reports in support of our Team.
· Experience being flexible; highly organized and have a successful history of managing multiple projects simultaneously
· Mathematically inclined; understands design and measurements as they relate to projects
· Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word
· Experience using 2020 Design or Cabinet software would be advantageous
· Experience with local building departments and permitting process a PLUS
Possible Daily Activities
1\. Accept and respond to phone calls and emails from all prospective customers
2\. Check voicemails
3\. Notify appropriate people via email, phone calls and/or Marco Polo
4\. Check company email and pass information along to appropriate person.
5\. Add client information to database.
6\. Take measurements on flooring, windows, doors and cabinetry for new projects a PLUS
7\. Assist with paint color selection
8\. Assist with tile selections for showers and backsplash
9\.Communicate with clients as projects progress.
10\.Manage customer questions and concerns promptly with Team coordination
11\.Assist in ordering materials and verifying all received orders and working with the Construction Crew to coordinate deliveries
12\.Keeps office clean, free of clutter, organized, and presentable
13\.Provides support as executive assistant to senior staff
14\. Responsible for coordinating and/or executing New Projects as they are identified.
