- 1 year of general clerical and customer service experience; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Previous experience with Utility Billing software systems.
- Previous experience handling a high volume of inbound calls.
- Previous experience with collections and payment negotiations.
- Previous experience working with multiple account management systems.
The City of Chandler Management Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Utility Services Representative. The position is scheduled to Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. This position will be assigned to the Utilities Division. Please see the job description below for more information.

The Utility Services Division provides customers a single point of contact for utilities, billing, and collecting user charges for the operation of the water, wastewater, and sanitation systems. This Division provides the highest quality of customer service possible in a walk\-in, online or call center setting.
Who we are looking for
Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to provide customer service and complete complex duties related to assisting residents and public accounts for utility and solid waste services including performing a variety of clerical and technical tasks, processing documents, entering data and maintaining records.

This is a regular full\-time position, subject to a 6\-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
