Remote Mental Health Therapist

Carter Care Therapeutic Services is seeking licensed therapists in California to join our expanding virtual therapy team. This is a fully remote position offering flexible scheduling, administrative support, and consistent client referrals.

Work Structure \& Compensation

This role is structured by the number of face\-to\-face sessions per week, not the total number of clients.

(Example: If you see the same client twice in a week, that counts as two sessions.)

Workload Options:

Part\-Time: 10–31 face\-to\-face sessions per week

Full\-Time: 32\+ face\-to\-face sessions per week

Full\-time therapists are eligible for our full benefits package (see below)

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Range: Up to $70 per session (based on license and experience)

Note: Rates reflect earnings per session; actual earnings depend on the number of sessions held per week.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Deliver virtual therapy sessions to individuals
• Maintain timely clinical documentation (within 24–48 hours)
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high\-quality, coordinated care
• Stay informed on best practices and developments in mental health care

What You Bring

• Active, unrestricted
California licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage \& Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), PsyD, or PhD
• Confidence in managing your own caseload
• Strong clinical judgment and cultural humility
• Preferred: experience with virtual care or private practice (training available)
