The Administrative Assistant I provides vital support to maintain the efficient operation of the office through general administrative tasks, including handling phone calls, managing office supplies, scheduling appointments, assisting with document management, and providing customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and editing documents, reports, and presentations.
- File and maintain records, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible.
- Handle general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
- Assist with data entry and maintain databases and support timekeeping functions.
- Support senior staff with project coordination and administrative needs.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming front\-office presence for visitors.
- Handle other administrative duties as required.
- Provide backup support for other team members as needed.
- Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
- 2 years of experience in a similar administrative role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Speak, read, and write in English; Knowledge of a second language preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
