Description
We are seeking a positive, well\-organized individual that is detail oriented, motivated, and places important on communication. The Executive Assistant Intern is an un\-paid 4 month internship where you will learn to be the first point of contact for some clients, program participants, vendors, and the general public. Dependability and consistency is a must have. A positive attitude is a plus, but the ability to react to changing priorities, and professionalism at all times is a must. This position provides back up functions for CEO on a direct communication standard through email, phone calls, and other project management software.
You may be able to receive college credit for internship and help with OPT (Optional Practical Training). This is a benefit available to international students in F\-1 immigration status who are enrolled in, or completing, a degree program in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Calendar management and scheduling
- Maintain and distribute electronic calendars
- Distribute incoming/outgoing email and maintain system
- Support CEO with administrative tasks
- Most of the intern's work will be done remotely
- Must have access to a laptop or desktop with consistent internet access
- Must be punctual and have outstanding time management skills
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software
- Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Be organized with ability to manage time efficiently while managing multiple tasks
- Ability to prioritize and multi\-task
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Works well with little to no direction
- Discretion handling confidential information
