THE ROLE
We're looking for a Client Success Manager who will be the primary bridge between SarokaFi and our clients. This is a hands\-on role — you're not sitting above the work, you're in it and fully responsible for the outcome. You will work along side the Owner of SarokaFi and the team.
On any given day, you might:
- Monitor and respond to lots of emails.
- Client phone calls.
- Communicate with the backend team
- Reconcile bank accounts in QuickBooks Online
- Field a client call about a cash flow question
- Chase down a lien waiver for a construction client
- Prep financial reports for a CFO review meeting
- Help process a payroll deliverable
- Follow up on outstanding vendor documents
- Being able to coach and train when needed.
- Serve as the single point of contact for your portfolio of construction and service business clients
- Conduct regular check\-ins and proactively surface issues before they escalate
- Onboard new clients: document collection, system setup, team introductions
- Manage expectations around deliverable timelines during monthly close and tax season
- Identify opportunities for deeper advisory engagement
- Hands\-on bookkeeping in QBO: transaction entry, categorization, reconciliation
- Quality\-check outsourced bookkeeping deliverables before client delivery
- Support Profit First allocation tracking on the 10th and 25th of each month
- Prepare preliminary financial reports for CFO review
- Coordinate tax compliance timelines and CPA deliverable handoffs
- Support the team on AP processing, document collection, and vendor tracking
- Manage client files following our security protocols
- Coordinate HR/payroll deliverables through Gusto
- Handle construction\-specific admin: lien waivers, insurance COIs, W\-9 collection
- Manage task workflows to ensure all client deadlines are met
- You MUST be hungry to learn and grow in the back office and online world. Someone that wants to learn the Power of AI and other back office tools.
- 3\+ years hands\-on experience with QuickBooks Online (daily proficiency, not just familiarity)
- Strong accounting fundamentals: AP/AR, bank reconciliation, general ledger, financial statements
- Proven client relationship management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Tech\-adaptable: you learn new software quickly without hand\-holding
- Experience working with construction contractors or skilled trades businesses
- Familiarity with construction back\-office operations (lien waivers, COIs, job costing, W\-9s)
- Experience with payroll processing / HR coordination (Gusto is a plus)
- Background in an outsourced accounting firm or virtual bookkeeping company
- Knowledge of Profit First methodology
- CRM experience (GoHighLevel or similar)
- Familiarity with construction project management software (JobTread, Buildertrend)
- Hybrid work arrangement with some flexibility to work from home but also be able to travel and work in our office in Windsor, CO.

You're comfortable wearing multiple hats — one hour in QuickBooks, the next on the phone with a contractor, the next organizing vendor documents. That variety energizes you.
You don't need construction experience on day one, but you're genuinely curious about how these businesses work. Contractors are builders — and so are we.
