- Assist full\-time staff in implementing programs and HR procedures.
- General administrative duties including data entry, filing, answering email and phone inquiries, photocopying, and faxing.
- Assist with employee onboarding and orientation procedures, including employee badges, materials and events.
- Organize and update HR personnel records and HR file storage, using both hard copy and electronic filing systems including but not limited to Ellucian Colleague and ImageNow systems.
- Will serve as Human Resources front desk coordinator back up.
- Assist with benefit team procedures and events including but not limited to supporting employee enrollment processing, benefit fairs and employee wellness and engagement events.
- Maintain applicant and new hire materials and records working closely within the applicant tracking software.
- Assist with employee training and outreach activities.
- Work with the talent team, on employee recruitment and marketing.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

The Human Resources Assistant is a vital member of the HR team assisting the team in the performance of duties to support Human Resource functions and initiatives for all areas of the department. This position assists with procedures designed to facilitate the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of new employees. In addition, the assistant supports the benefit and wellness team, professional development and training activities and delivery for employees throughout the college.
Job Responsibilities
Education
Some education including relevant course work and/or formal training in human resources is preferred.
Qualifications
A minimum of one year related work experience or a demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position.
