Twenty One Pines, Inc.
Twenty One Pines provides accounting, operational, and advisory support across a portfolio of operating companies including property management, logistics, construction services, consulting, and related service businesses.
We are seeking a high\-caliber accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic environment where financial accuracy, critical thinking, and operational awareness matter. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both owning the accounting function and executing the work itself.
This is not a traditional management role where work is delegated to a large team. The individual in this seat will be both the financial steward and the primary doer, ensuring accounting across multiple entities is accurate, compliant, and operationally sound.
What This Role Is Not
This role is not designed for someone seeking a narrow bookkeeping position or a purely task\-driven accounting role.
This is not an environment where transactions are simply entered and processed without understanding the underlying financial activity.
Because our companies operate across multiple industries and frequently interact financially, this role requires someone who can evaluate transactions, apply sound accounting judgment, and recognize when financial activity requires further investigation before being recorded.
This role is also not a position where all work is delegated to a team. While the title is Accounting Manager, the individual in this role will be deeply involved in the day\-to\-day accounting work and will often be the person executing the activity.
Candidates who prefer highly repetitive accounting environments with limited variability may find this role challenging. The person who will thrive here is someone who enjoys complexity, takes pride in solving accounting problems, and values maintaining exceptionally accurate financial records.
Role Overview
The Accounting Manager will oversee and execute accounting functions across several operating companies within the Twenty One Pines portfolio. This role requires someone who can move fluidly between brands, understand complex financial activity between entities, and apply strong judgment when evaluating how transactions should be recorded.
Our companies frequently interact with one another financially, which requires someone who can pause, evaluate the nature of a transaction, and apply sound accounting judgment before processing.
This role requires someone who does not simply record transactions but understands the financial story behind them. The individual in this role must be comfortable pausing to evaluate financial activity before recording it, ensuring transactions are accurate, appropriate, and properly classified across entities.
