Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant – Guaranteed Door Service, Inc.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a friendly, detail\-oriented receptionist to manage our front desk with a commercial and residential garage door company that has been in business for 40 plus years. You’ll handle calls, greet walk\-in customers, enter orders, process invoices and payments, and anything else that may be needed on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer, screen, and forward calls as needed on a multi\-line phone system
- Greet and check in customers, directing them to the appropriate staff
- Order entry, create and send invoices using Sage BusinessWorks
- Process customer payments by credit card and cash, ensuring accuracy
- Perform filing, scanning, and general data\-entry tasks
- Send out marketing mailers when needed
- Maintain supply inventories and keep the reception area tidy
- Coordinate with our warehouse for doors and parts to follow up with clients
- Minimum 1 year in a receptionist or administrative role in a service\-based setting
- Experience handling credit card transactions and cash payments
- Skilled at managing multi\-line phone systems
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to multi\-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Answering a multi\-line system
- Familiarity with Sage BusinessWorks (can train)
- Invoicing, understanding of lien waivers and certificates of insurance
- Full\-time, Monday–Friday
