- Coordinate and support legal research efforts utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to gather pertinent information across various practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, securities law, and tribal law.
- Assist with contract drafting, proofreading, and editing to ensure clarity, compliance, and precision in legal documents.
- Oversee legal administrative tasks including data entry, filing, organizing client records, and maintaining document management systems.
- Support project management initiatives by tracking deadlines, preparing reports, and facilitating communication between legal teams and external stakeholders.
- Conduct research on legal topics such as UCC law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, patent law, family law, landlord\-tenant law, immigration law, and more to assist attorneys in case preparation.
- Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and handling correspondence with professionalism.
- Perform clerical duties such as transcription of legal documents, proofreading for accuracy, and maintaining organized filing systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Proven paralegal experience or legal administrative experience within a law office setting.
- Strong knowledge of legal research tools including Westlaw and LexisNexis.
- Familiarity with document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw.
- Experience with legal case management software and contract review platforms.
