Job Description:

First Stop Health is seeking a strategic and hands\-on Manager of Business Applications to own the architecture and optimization of our enterprise software ecosystem. This role is designed for a big picture architect who doesn't just manage a small team, but actively dives into the weeds of design, configuration, and project management. You will be the primary architect ensuring that our department\-level systems work together as a cohesive engine to power our business.

We need a leader who can navigate the high\-level roadmap of how data and process flow across the organization, while simultaneously being the person who can roll up their sleeves to build a complex flow or troubleshoot an API integration. You are the bridge between business needs and technical execution—a nimble problem\-solver who can translate a vague business requirement into a robust, scalable system design.

Responsibilities:

DevOps and Release Management

  • Design and govern the DevOps lifecycle for business applications, ensuring a standardized process for moving configuration from sandbox to production
  • Prioritize the development backlog by balancing urgent changes with long\-term strategic projects, ensuring resources are allocated to the highest\-impact tasks
  • Drive scalability by building repeatable deployment patterns, ensuring that as the company grows, our systems and release cadences can handle increased complexity without breaking
  • Strategy \& Project Management

  • Develop and execute a long\-term roadmap for business applications that eliminates technical debt and anticipates future growth
  • Lead end\-to\-end project lifecycles, from initial discovery and requirements gathering to go\-live and post\-launch support
  • Manage relationships with third\-party vendors and consultants, ensuring deliverables meet our high standards for design and performance
  • Look beyond standard features to design creative, elegant automation solutions that solve complex business bottlenecks
  • Identify manual human\-in\-the\-loop processes across the organization and replace them with scalable, automated workflows
  • Hands\-on Configuration \& Design

  • Perform complex system configurations, custom object creation, and automated workflow design within Salesforce and integrated platforms
  • Audit and refine system permissions, validation rules, and data structures to ensure "clean" environment management
  • Take full ownership of the end\-to\-end design for complex builds, ensuring that custom objects, fields, and automation logic are built elegantly
  • Team Leadership \& Enablement

  • Lead and mentor a small team of analysts/admins, fostering a culture of technical excellence with empathy
  • Partner with stakeholders across the company to identify friction points and propose automated solutions
  • Establish KPIs for system uptime, data accuracy, and user adoption to measure the success of our application suite
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 5\+ years of experience in Business Applications or Enterprise Systems management
  • Proven track record in Salesforce architecture (Certifications like Application/System Architect are a major plus)
  • Direct experience implementing or managing HRIS and financial systems
  • Experience leading mid\-to\-large scale system implementations
  • Architect Mindset: Ability to visualize complex data relationships and how a change in one system ripples through the entire tech stack
  • Hybrid Capability: Equal parts high\-level strategist and detail\-level doer who enjoys technical configuration
  • Unrelenting Problem Solver: A proactive approach to ambiguity; you don't wait for a manual to get to the solution
  • Communication: Ability to explain complex technical constraints to non\-technical stakeholders with clarity and empathy
