Position Overview:
MP Materials’ Magnetics group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our growing team on\-site in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an opportunity to play a key part in building our team, our factory, and our culture as we help to define the future of American manufacturing. The successful candidate will be a highly\-organized and detail\-oriented administrative professional with experience in general organizational support, procurement, HR/Recruiting, coordinating schedules and travel for remote teams, meeting/event support, and other administrative duties. A variety of administrative duties will emerge over time, and we are seeking candidates excited to evolve and grow with our organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with broader Magnetics team to coordinate, organize, expedite, and automate tasks and processes across all administrative activities.
- Plan and provide on\-site support for visits, site events, and other meetings with suppliers, customers, local, state, and federal officials, and others.
- Coordinate procurement input and approval processes across Manufacturing, Technology, Procurement, and Accounting, and then support tracking of purchases within SAP.
- Support recruiting through scheduling of interviews, managing logistics of on\-site and virtual interviews, and capturing and filing reviews of candidates.
- Support new hires through onboarding and relocation processes.
- Assist with internal communications across multiple platforms, interfaces, and programs.
- Support organization and logistics of staff meetings, customer visits, teleconferences, team off\-sites and other events.
- Work across multiple time zones to support a global corporate environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- At least 3 years of experience in an administrative role in a corporate office environment, or other applicable experience.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask across the diverse daily administrative activities of a mid\-sized office, assisting with coordination of multiple team members’ administrative needs.
- Demonstrated ability to learn form\- and computer\-based administrative tasks.
- Experience with enterprise accounting systems, with SAP experience preferred.
- Experience guiding members of a distributed team (local and remote) to the correct local and corporate resources to address questions around procurement, HR, IT, Legal, etc.
- Deep knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products, especially the use of Outlook and Teams to coordinate the schedules of multiple individuals, sites, and resources.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail\-oriented, while maintaining the flexibility to organize, prioritize, and complete an evolving portfolio of multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability and willingness to work full\-time on\-site during business hours.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime during off\-hours, on\- or\-off site as required.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the use of SAP software.
- Ability to adapt to an evolving work environment.
- Skilled in making administrative processes clear and efficient.
- Works with a high sense of urgency.
