Clinical Director

Walnut Creek, CA

Full\-Time Hybrid

About Little Dove Counseling

Little Dove Counseling is a private\-pay child and family therapy practice in Walnut Creek, CA. We specialize in therapy for children ages 2–12 and their families, with a deep commitment to play therapy, attachment\-based approaches, and the belief that parents are the experts on their children.

Our work is grounded in three core values:

* Honor — We hold unconditional positive regard for every family we serve.

* Curiosity — We co\-witness rather than prescribe. We stay open to what each family teaches us.

* Partnership — Parents are co\-therapists in the healing process, not passive recipients of care.

We believe the therapeutic relationship is the leading contributor to outcomes — and that belief shapes everything from how we train clinicians to how we support families.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Clinical Director to lead our clinical team. This is a real leadership role with real authority — not a clinician title with extra tasks.

As Clinical Director, you will carry a caseload, supervise our associate therapists, and help shape the clinical standards of the practice. You will collaborate with the Practice Owner on client assignments, clinical protocols, documentation standards, clinician performance, and hiring decisions.

This role is designed to grow. We are building toward a structure where the Clinical Director fully owns clinical operations, freeing the Practice Owner to focus on business development and strategic growth. If you are looking for a long\-term home where your leadership will shape the future of the practice, this is it.
