AGM is seeking a detail\-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to join our accounting team! This position plays an important role in ensuring that vendor invoices are processed accurately and payments are issued in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with numbers and financial documentation in a structured office environment.
This role works closely with internal departments and vendors alike, to review invoices, maintain accurate financial records, and support the day\-to\-day accounts payable process.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval
- Enter invoices and payment information into the accounting system
- Match invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation
- Prepare and process vendor payments according to established schedules
- Maintainaccuraterecords of invoices, payments, and vendor information
- Communicate with vendorsregardinginvoices, payment status, or discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Assistwith month\-end closing tasks and financial record maintenance
- Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the accounting department
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Basicproficiencywith Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong communicationand problem\-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams

Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to AGM’s Accounting Line Supervisor and works closely with our Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The AP Clerk will collaborate with accounting leadership to support accurate financial recordkeeping, timely vendor payments, and the overall efficiency of the accounts payable process.
